We have several initiatives underway that your generous donation will allow us to undertake. The buttons below will bring you to our dedicated CanadaHelps pages to complete your donation in support of these programs and initiatives.

Canadahelps provides secure transaction processing, facilitates donations of securities, monthly donations and provides tax receipting for your donation to the BC Aviation Museum.

General Fund

A donation to the general fund supports our ongoing museum operations, equipment and aircraft maintenance, cleaning and display of aircraft and helps with the daily heat, electricity, technology, custodial and other ongoing costs.

Restoration and Preservation:

A donation to the this program gives our team of volunteers the resources they need to undertake the restoration of historic aviation icons including the Avro Lancaster, Piaseci helicopter, the operational Merlin engine and many others.

Hanger Expansion:

With the anticipated completion of our Lancaster, and other key restorations including the Snowbird One, the Vampire and the Piasecki, we will need space to store these aircraft. BCAM has been working with several firms to get estimates on the cost of adding an extension to the Henderson Hangar, with the forecast budget is currently sitting around $1.3m for the basic enclosed hangar. We already have 2 key donations of $50,000 toward the project, with many other smaller donations supporting this worthy endeavour.

For on site donations, we have TipTap kiosks available for $10, $20 and $50 donations by debit or credit card. Please note that donations through these devices are not tax receipted.

BCAM can also receive donations by interact, credit card, cheque, cash, etc. in person at the gift shop.

For online donations, BCAM offers several options:

Payment via Interac transfer – Please make payment to [email protected]. If you desire a tax receipt, please email us at [email protected] with your full name, and mailing address so that we may issue a tax receipt.
Electronic Funds Transfer/Wire Transfer – Please contact us at [email protected] and we will provide the banking details.

Tax Receipts:

Receipts are prepared early in the calendar year following the donation and are issued either via e-mail or postal mail. For donations made through CanadaHelps, the tax receipting is automatically provided via CanadaHelps. For donations made directly to the museum, the Tax Receipt is prepared in-house. The British Columbia Aviation Museum provides tax receipts for donations over $50.

Object Donation

If you have artifacts (including objects or artwork) or library or archival materials (including books, photographs, log books, magazines or documents) that you would like to offer for donation to the BCAM collection, please contact Collections Manager, Nathan Andrews at [email protected]
