The BC Aviation Museum collects and preserves material related to aviation and aerospace history of British Columbia and Canada. The BCAM Library & Archives collect and preserve books and archival materials, and the BCAM Artifacts department collects and preserves artifacts and artwork.

We welcome donations of aviation related books and similar materials.  Offers of books or archival material, including photographs and albums, logbooks, magazines or personal documents should be directed to Library & Archives Manager Keith Ogilvie at [email protected].  Alternatively, these items can be dropped off any time at the Museum Gift Shop.  Please be sure to complete and sign a “Deed of Gift” form for any items left at the Museum.

Offers of objects or artwork for donation to the permanent collection should be directed to Artifacts Manager, Rosemary Kemp at [email protected].

In your email please include:

  1. Your full name
  2. A description of the item(s) you are offering to the museum
  3. Any historical information you may have on the item(s)
  4. A description of how the item(s) came to be in your possession
  5. Clear photographs of item(s) if possible
  6. Any notes or questions you may have

Please note:  the BC Aviation Museum does not accept unsolicited offers of donations of Artifacts and Artwork at the front desk. All offers of artifacts and artwork for donation MUST be made via email to the Artifacts Manager.
